JUST IN: Lagos’ Fire service director, others regain freedom

The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Rasaki Musibau and six others that were abducted by unknown gunmen on Saturday April 6th at about 8p.m. on Iwoye Bridge, along the Itoikin-Epe Road, Ikorodu, have been rescued. .

A statement released by the Lagos State Police Command’s spokesman, DSP Bala Elkana, says they were rescued unhurt by their abductors last night ,Tuesday April 9th at about 11.45pm. .
. “The victims have since reunited with their families. The Command’s Tactical teams are still in the creeks and forests combating the hoodlums. Water-tight security measures are in place across the state to forestall future occurrence. .

The Command deeply appreciate the supports of Lagos State Government and the good people of Lagos State who stood by us and also provided useful information that facilitated the prompt rescue of the victims. .
