Official Cast Release of Queen Moremi The Musical

Finally we can say that the day we’ve all been waiting for is here, uhh I mean the big day before the stage play premiere. House of Oduduwa & Rejuvenee In collaboration with Bolanle Austen-Peters Production has decided to let the cat out of the bag after a long wait, we all know that BAP  was being more secretive than ever as they kept the casts for the royal easter edition of Queen Moremi the Musical, but thanks to the cast director Terrakulture we have been able to get a super clear idea of which stars to be expecting at the ”Easter Just Got Fully Booked” Season. Apart from a fabulous story and drama created by Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, we all know how exciting it is for we Nigerians to have a star studded show, with BAP knowing their onions well they decided to give us this and more. Yes we are super excited as you are!

The 7- year stage play actor, Tosin Adeyemi, who starred as Moremi in the hit Bolanle Austen-Peters stage play  was definitely one of the most talked about celebrities last year December as she delivered a second to none performance where she played the role of the warrior, Queen Moremi Ajasoro. The fast rising actor and certified Chantress would be back on our stage this easter with energies like never before as she, for the second time, would play the role of Queen Moremi Ajasoro but this time as a single headliner of the role, almost impossible but yes your doubts are clear, Tosin Adeyemi would be single handedly headlining the Moremi Ajasoro character. This makes her the first female actor to play a lead role in a stage play, two times in a row and headline 21 shows. Tosin is definitely one to look out for as we see her bagging major awards this year.

Kemi Lala Akindoju famous for her delivery in her one woman show in July would also be making a magnificent comeback as the infamous river goddess Esinmirin, playing the same character her role is one which had the most emotional impact on the audience, no one would claim not to have shed a tear after she pronounced the victory sacrifice on Moremi.

Immediately we were told that Femi Branch’s Olu-Ugbo would be gracing and marching the Terrakulture stage again, right there we knew the Royal edition had a rumbling roar in stock for us. I mean who would literally not want to encounter that level of stage action.

Fastest Rising Star Actress Bamike Olawunmi popularly known as Bambam from Big Brother Naija also makes her second comeback presence at the Easter Edition of Queen Moremi The Musical, we must note that the star was the only cast to highhandedly deliver her multiple roles through the 19 shows during the December edition. In a short private interview actress says she can’t wait to rock the stage even if it is just days from the just concluded Bolanle Austen-Peters Fela and The Kalkuta Queens which was live at State Theater, Pretoria South Africa, a show sponsored by the South African government.

The delight we feel knowing that the costumier especially spilled that we should expect a tasteful twist in the costumes is one only a Moremi the Musical Day One Fan can relate to. The Show which is stated to run 21 electrifying performances from April 18th through May 5th would also feature stage superstars like Moshood Fattah’s Oluorogbo, Bimbo Manuel & Femi Branch’s Ooni Obawinrin, Femi Branch & Segun Dada’s Olu-Igbo, Rotimi Adelegan & Tobi Odunsi’s Oba Oranmiyan, Ayo Ayoola, Hector Amiwero & Gbolabo Adebakin’s  Obarese, Kemi Lala Akindoju & Queen Celestine’s Esinmirin, Deyemi Okanlawon & Julius Obende’s Obalufe.
